Using natural, earthy colours and organic fabrics, I capture your beautiful newborn baby in my cosy Bradford newborn photography studio, you will be welcomed with a hot drink (keep them coming, I hear you whisper!), fresh fruit and delicious bakes. My style is minimalistic and simple.. and very much baby led.

From their button noses, to their squishy rolls and teeny toes, I want to capture it all.. Each and every detail! Your precious baby changes the most in their first days, and these are the moments that I capture for you to cherish forever. But more than that, I want to capture your family’s love and connection.

THE LOCATION
My cosy garden studio is situated in Gomersal, just outside of Bradford, West Yorkshire. it is easily accessible from Leeds, Harrogate, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Halifax. The stunning studio creates an experience you will never forget! It is light, airy, clean and tidy and may I add, very warm!!
I have a bottle warmer, extra nappies, water wipes, a changing mat and even a feeding cushion. It is a home away from home.. Whatever you have forgotten, don’t worry – i have you covered!!!
Client Closet
The fun part!! I have curated the most beautiful and luxurious selection of dresses, most are from small and sustainable brands that make you feel like a goddess. I have carefully hand picked dresses that fit with my brand and dresses that flatter your beautiful figure. It is such a crucial part of my service, ensuring that you feel confident for our session.. So I have put together a guide for you so that you can get an idea of what dress to wear for the session.
It will be cleaned, steamed and ready for you to wear.. All you need to do is your hair and makeup (If you wear it!) how you like it. For the littles, I have a selection of outfits for babies and children up to the ages of 4. Again, I will send a guide out which will detail the little closet. If you would like, we can arrange for you to try on your dress a few weeks before our session!! For your bub, I have some beautiful, unique wraps and outfits that will all match with my brand.

My approach to the Newborn session is that I want it to look and feel natural. I don’t want your photographs to be a carbon copy of someone else’s…
In my Bradford newborn photography studio i will give you guidance in where to look, how to position yourself and where to place your hands.. But it is the in-between moments that I love to capture! They’re the moments that reflect the real and the raw.

Questions?
When is the best time to have a newborn shoot?
Newborn sessions are usually booked for when baby is 7-21 days old. However, with my style being very relaxed and baby led, we can do older newborn sessions up to 3 month.
How much is the deposit?
£95, this is deducted from your package price when you choose your package. There is no need to choose a package until you come to view your images at your face to face viewing and ordering session.
How do I book a newborn session when I don’t know when my baby will arrive?
We pencil in a shoot date for 7-10 days after your due date. All you need to do is let us know when baby is here or if you are running over due and we can adjust the dates accordingly.
When do I need to book in for my newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked in after your 12 weeks scan. I do book out months in advance, so the sooner I know that you would like a session, the more likely it is that I have the date free.
Can my partner and children be included in the photos?
Absolutely, yes! I always encourage family images.
Where will my session take place?
I offer studio sessions in my cosy Gomersal garden studio.
Can I wear one of your dresses?
Yes of course! After our initial consultation I will send you a brochure which illustrates all of my dresses and outfits for your little ones.. So you will get a feel for what I have before the session. You are even welcomed to come and try on before your shoot!
Do you have outfits for baby?
I have invested in some beautiful and unique outfits and knitwear for baby. You will see this in my brochure after your initial consultation.
What do I need to bring to my session?
You need your usual changing bag with milk, nappies, soother if you have one! If you decide not to wear one of my dresses, you just need to bring your outfit. If you forget something.. Don’t worry, I always have spare wipes and nappies!!
Do you provide drinks at the studio?
I provide tea and coffee, juice and canned drinks. You never know, you may even get some sweet treats, too!!

We arrived to the studio with such a warm, inviting welcome from Kate, immediately we felt at ease.
Kate clearly has a lot of experience with young children and was so patient and friendly.
Kate is an absolutely fabulous photographer and gave clear directions. She took hundreds of photos to make sure she gets them perfect shots.
We loved coming back to the studio to view the photos, it felt like it had a bit more of that personal touch.
The photos were absolutely stunning and we’ve already booked in for another shoot. Would recommend to anyone who wants beautiful, lasting memories of their young family photographed!
