As a Bradford baby photographer I can honestly say that Capturing your baby doesn’t stop at the ‘newborn’ phase… there are so many milestones to capture, and I am here for them all!!
It is so important to capture these special times and capture those beautiful personalities as time flies so quickly and before you know it you are chasing after your toddler and those baby days are gone!
, My sessions are designed best for when your baby is sitting confidently unaided, or taking their first steps, usually around 6-12 months of age. These are milestones that we cherish for eternity! In my Bradford baby photography studio I love to capture the more relaxed images, those chunky thighs, gummy smiles, tiny fingers and toes and of course all those new skills they have just learnt which will create a beautiful gallery.

THE LOCATION
My cosy garden studio is situated in Gomersal, West Yorkshire. it is easily accessible from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Halifax. The stunning studio creates an experience you will never forget! It is light, airy, clean and tidy and may I add, very warm!!
I have a bottle warmer, extra nappies, water wipes, a changing mat and even a feeding cushion. It is a home away from home.. Whatever you have forgotten, don’t worry – i have you covered!!!

The fun part!! I have curated the most beautiful and luxurious selection of outfits for your little one, most are from small and sustainable brands.. I have carefully hand picked outfits for your little one..
Whether it be dresses, rompers or nappy covers, that fit with my brand style that will suit the studio set up perfectly. It is such a crucial part of my service.. So I have put together a guide for you so that you can get an idea of what outfits I have. It will be cleaned, steamed and ready for you to wear.. All you need to do is bring your little one for some fun!
Posing
My approach to the session is that I want it to look and feel natural. I don’t want your photographs to be a carbon copy of someone else’s…
I will give you guidance in where to look, how to position yourself and where to place your hands.. But it is the in-between moments that I love to capture! They’re the moments that reflect the real and the raw.

Questions?
When is the best time to have an older baby shoot?
These are usually booked for when your baby can confidently sit unaided, at around 6 to 12 months
How much is the deposit?
£95, this is deducted from your package price when you choose your package. There is no need to choose a package until you come to view your images at your face to face viewing and ordering session.
Can my partner and siblings be included in the photos?
Absolutely, yes! I always encourage family images where possible.
Where will my session take place?
I offer studio sessions in my Gomersal garden studio, as well as outdoor sessions which we can discuss during your initial consultation.
Can I wear one of your dresses?
Yes of course! After our initial consultation I will send you a brochure which illustrates all of my dresses and outfits for your little ones.. So you will get a feel for what I have before the session. You are even welcomed to come and try on before your shoot!
Do you have outfits for my children?
I have invested in some beautiful and unique outfits for your children up to the ages of 4. If you have older children, just let me know as I may just have something!! You will see the outfits in my brochure after your initial consultation.
What do I need to bring to my session?
If you decide not to wear one of my dresses, you just need to bring your outfit. If you have a little one already and forgot something.. Don’t worry, I always have spare wipes and nappies!!
Do you provide drinks at the studio?
I provide tea and coffee, juice and canned drinks. You never know, you may even get some sweet treats, too!!
Can I change the date after I have booked?
Yes of course! I know what it’s like having children, something always seems to crop up! If you or your child are ill on the day, just let me know and we can reschedule. For anything else, I need 48 hours notice at least, otherwise a rebook would require another deposit.

We arrived to the studio with such a warm, inviting welcome from Kate, immediately we felt at ease.
Kate clearly has a lot of experience with young children and was so patient and friendly.
Kate is an absolutely fabulous photographer and gave clear directions. She took hundreds of photos to make sure she gets them perfect shots.
We loved coming back to the studio to view the photos, it felt like it had a bit more of that personal touch.
The photos were absolutely stunning and we’ve already booked in for another shoot. Would recommend to anyone who wants beautiful, lasting memories of their young family photographed!
Kate is amazing!
We had our newborn shoot with her when our little boy was just a few days old. She was so lovely, relaxed and welcoming (which is so important when you are a few days post partum). She is incredible at what she does!
